Nothing really😄. I finished with a first class and my school does not retain first class students, perhaps if they do, I would not have applied for a scholarship.

Yeah, of course, I had some rejections and yes rejection is normal. I did not feel bad because I felt I was not doing something right. So each time I get a rejection, I go back to my mentors for more encouragement and I pressed on.

Yes, I was excited. I was serving in Kano then, I just got back from my primary place of assignment inside the hot sun😄 when I received a call from UBC that my scholarship application was successful. I was greatly excited.
Smiles, From your experience, what are the needful things to be done before securing a scholarship?
Yes, work on your CV. Look at your strength and weakness and channel them well. Anyone can apply for scholarship but you need to know where you fit in.

Yes, studying outside Nigeria is tough, adventurous and exciting. You get to meet new people, make new friends and expand your knowledge too.
Inspiring, What are your words of advice to intending scholarship applicants.??
My advice is that you do a lot of research online, know what you want like the desired country you want to go to, your desired course of study as well. A lot of people get confused on what to apply for but knowing what you want beforehand saves you from dilemma. Thank you.
