Actually, what inspired me was my course. I was offered forestry for my undergraduate days and I had no idea what the course was about. I went online to do some research on what it is about and I was intrigued at what I saw. I discovered that forestry is a top notch field in other countries and well recognized than our country. During my 100l, I was opportune to attend the International forestry symposium in Kumasi, Ghana and I met other students in forestry. These two keys were what inspired me to apply for scholarship and study outside Nigeria.

Studying outside Nigeria, how does it feel?? Stressful, tasking or quite with ease? Share your experience.

Actually, studying outside Nigeria has its challenges too. The culture shock and you are experiencing a different educational system. If you can excel in Nigeria schools, you can excel anywhere in the world. Also, sometimes networking could be a challenge. For instances, what you can say to a fellow Nigerian and it’s been taken as joke cannot be said to a white, it might become offensive. So I will say read more about your desired country and learn their culture.

Insightful, What are your words of advice to intending scholarship applicants.??

I will say work hard, applying for scholarship is a full time. Read more about the application like 4-5 times in a day so that you can properly understand the process. It took me three months to complete it and I spent money too. Watch videos on youtube about scholarship applications too to be properly groomed before starting your application. BELIEVE IN GOD TOOOOOO, his grace distinct you among others. Prepare your documents as stated in the requirements of the scholarship you are applying for.
