SAED at Obubra NYSC camp, Cross rivers State
It’s no news that acquiring a skill has become a pertinent suggestion for Nigeria youths. Most youth believes that education will get them to fulfill their dreams especially fetching them a white collar job but this ideology has failed over times. Entrepreneurship is the leading role for boosting the economy of the country and also equipping oneself to be financially stable and free.
It has been the style of NYSC to bring this initiative which is known as Skill Acquisition Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) to all camps across the country by bringing different skills in and the corp members can learn and be skilled in. Obubra NYSC camp was not left out as SAED took off today at the camp. All corp members were asked to select their skills base on their passion and the program will run for a duration for five days in which there will be praticals and competitions between each platoons to mark the end of the program.
Some of the skills includes Agro allied, Fashion and design, Event management, ICT, Cosmetology etc
The chairman for SAED encouraged all corp members to cooperate and show key interest and learn because life after NYSC is not a funny one but with a skill, they can live a meaningful life.
