Welcome to honournaija_blog, can we meet you?

I am super excited to be here today on Honournaija Blog. My name is Wuraola ADEYEMI. I am from Ibadan, Oyo State. I had my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Ibadan and my MBA degree from Lead City University. I produce Kulikuli, and sell to direct consumers and wholesalers. I also supply to supermarkets, and cater for events in term of souvenirs. My hobbies includes dancing, eating, listening to songs and making money. I am fulfilled when I have intelligent conversations with people I love, when taking my evening/night strolls, completion of task successfully. I love to inspire people, I also love to take meditations in dark quite environment and most importantly, I love talking with God.

Quite an interesting personality I must say. What inspired you to start this amazing business?

I will say God, actually.

Before I got the confirmation to start this business, I’d been getting supplies from a producer who was inconsistent. One Sunday, during Business Service in Church, I got the word of knowledge via Pastor’s ministration. I didn’t know what to do with that information because I’d never thought of learning or going into it full-time. However, God brought me in contact with a lost-long friend who, after I gave him as a gift, just said ‘learn this thing’ . That was how I decided to learn, and I started producing and selling.

Amazing. When did you start and for how long?

I started 24th December, 2022. I have been in the business for 10 months.

Lovely. What has been the challenges so far as an entrepreneur?

The only challenge I have is that my supply cannot meet demand. Since I started production, I’ve been experiencing exponential increase in demands over the months. However, with the need to hasten production so as to meet demand, I’ve had to employ staff, and I’m still looking out to employ more.

Can you say your customers has derived maximum satisfaction thus far?
Yes, they have. Lots of my customers come back many times to buy from me. I’ve gotten referrals to send Kulikuli outside Ibadan and I have also sent kulikuli to people outside the country lots of times, this year.

Yes, I have tasted your Kuli kuli too and I must say, I want more. Where do you see your business in the next 10years and what steps do you intend to take towards that vision?
I see my business as a well-renowned food company in the world. Steps that have been taking and intended steps involves investing in HR, Marketing, mapping out and implementing growth strategies, getting and using financial resources. Most importantly, praying, fasting and sowing my seeds.
Great. What is/are your advice to young ones that would want to go into your kind of business?
Most importantly, follow God’s leading. Spend time praying to God for capacity, wisdom and people (customers and friends that will support you and your business). Fasting, praying, prophesying and sowing seeds concerning your business are also key, because as we know, the supernatural controls the natural. Be hardworking because it’s one thing to be interested and it’s another thing to be committed. Be consistent, have integrity and always produce quality.
Excellent. Any word for honournaija_blog?
