Charity Community Development Service group in Ogoja Local Government Area has inducted new members of the 2019 Batch “B” Stream II.
Addressing the Corps Members, CDS President, Corp Member Aruta Edward stressed on the need for members of the group to be their brother’s keeper and exhibit exemplary lives. He also encouraged them to remain ambassadors of peace and charity, stating the enormous advantages of cheerful giving.
The President further revealed that the CDS group will be visiting the Orphanage home, Aged women, widows and Okende refugees camp Ogoja as part of Agenda for the new administration.
Also, Corp Member Okudo Jessica gave a presentation on the the importance of virtues for Life which she said is the heart of daily living. She enumerated seven virtues in Christianity which include Temperance, prudence, courage, Justice, faith, hope and charity .
The newly inducted Members however expressed satisfaction at the treat giving to them by members of the group, promising to abide by the tenets guiding the group.
