Woooooow. Today is the grand finale and we are drawing the curtain with a cake brand. I am not a fan of cake but when I met her, hanhan…..my appetite for cake came afresh. She is known far and near for her amazing cakes that is filling and refreshing. Lets get to meet this yummy cake brand.

Yes you can meet me. My name is Ayoola Rhoda. I am from Kwara state and I am a graduate of University of Ilorin.

What inspired you to go into this type of business??

Oh wow, initially I learnt baking because I love food and I love been in the kitchen. Along the line, when I bake for people, they keep asking me to for more and asking me to bake for them so I turned it into a business and I built my brand.

When did you start, for how long??

I started in the year 2017 and I baked my first cake April 2017 which was my birthday cake and it was nice.

What are the challenges thus far??

Haa, Challenges is plenty oooo. It is very hard to give a stranger your money to bake for you, building trust was challenging and baking itself is streneous physically and mentally.

What keeps pushing you through??

What keeps pushing me through is referrals from people, their satisfaction and passion.

Can you say your customers has derived maximum satisfaction thus far?

Yessssssss , I can say I give 90% satisfaction from my baking. They get maximum satisfaction from my cakes and designs too.

Where do you see your business in the next 10years??

I see my business becoming an international one. Creating job opportunities, teaching and training people and making the best cake in the world.

What is/are your advices to younger ones that would want to go into your kind of business??

Be persistent, develop yourself and update yourself on different new designs invoke. New designs comes out everyday, get familiar with them and build your brand too.
