COLD MAILS?? TELL ME ABOUT IT

Sharing is caring!

David entered the room with a gloomy face, one that make it seems the whole world is against him. I asked him “What’s up”? With a faraway look, he replied in pidgin ” scholarship application don tire me”.

I felt his pain and weariness, then I asked, “have you tried cold mails”? He was taken aback with my question because he does not know what ” Cold mails are”.

Tell me about it, he replied. I was so happy to know he is still interested in pursuing applications and using a different tool.

A cold email is an unsolicited e-mail that is sent to a receiver without prior contact. In the academic world, cold mails are used by prospective graduate students to seek the availability of any Professors or Doctors who have funding for a particular research that is in the interest of the applicants.

After both parties have come to an agreement, the applicant is then awarded an academic funding for his research as well as his or her graduate studies.

This appears to be the light at the end of the tunnel for David as he looked happier and ready to shoot. The first cold mail David sent won him a fully funded scholarship to study Masters in Climate change, Yale University at United States.

Just like David, are you tired of writing twelve essays for a scholarship? Five essays, Four essays? Relax with cold mails. Start shooting for cold mails, this could be it.

However, it is not a walk in a park; it requires adequate research on your prospective supervisor and how you can convince him or her to take you as his student.

Try your hands on COLD MAILS.
