Thank you very much for having me. My name is Obafemi Ayomide Joyce, a brand influencer, content creator and social media manager . I am also a student of the university of Ibadan currently studying communication and Language arts.
What inspired you to start this amazing business?
I love advertising, I like the concept of marketing too. Convincing people to buy your product and make use of your service. So when ASUU happened, I got tired of doing nothing and decided to venture into Influencer marketing and like I said, I am a soft life enthusiast and I figured “ you have expensive taste, you’ll need to work extra hard to fund your lifestyle”.
I like that. When did you start and for how long?
I started influencer marketing precisley May, 2022, it’s safe to say my brand is over a year🥳. It has been a long bumpy ride but we thank God.
Great. What has been the challenges so far as an entrepreneur?
I’d say trying to balance school with work. It has been a hassle for real but I believe everything will work out. I just need time.
Absolutely. Can you say your customers has derived maximum satisfaction thus far?
I’ll say yes. I have so many wonderful reviews from my clients. I’m someone who puts her best into whatever she does so yes.
Amazing. Where do you see your business in the next 10years and what steps do you intend to take towards that vision?
I’ll be big. The typical black woman living the life of luxury and impacting the younger generation. Being an inspiration to them, telling them to go for whatever it is they want to do. Telling and showing them that irrespective of your situation and condition you can get what you want as long as you put in the work.
What is/are your advice to young ones that would want to go into your kind of business?
Just start. Don’t think about what people will say. The fear of looking stupid is what’s holding you back.
