Over 100,000 candidates got varsity admission, says JAMB
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board says over 100,000 candidates that met their requirements has been offered admission into different universities.
According to Dr Fabian Benjamin, he said that the projection of the board this year is to utilize more available spaces unlike in 2018 where about 40 percent of spaces weren’t utilized.
According to him, the first choice of admission for public universities commenced Aug 21 and will last through to November 16, while the admission for private universities will be from Aug 21 through to Feb 15, 2020.
He also added that the admission for second choice will be from November 17 to December 17.
